Posted by: Stéphane @ 15:35 CET

TSOTB thought having solved all their line-up problems cause they have finally found a new singer that they will try out in the next six months but in the same time Anders Thue has left them definitely.

As a consequence : the band cancels all festivals this summer...

Don't use aol's navigator but Internet explorer or netscape with java enabled.

edit Matze: It also works with Opera (java enabled) :) Oh, and the "Chat Room" links in the menus on top and on the left now point to the new chat, too, btw!

News from Manowar & Spinal Tap
Posted by: Matze @ 20:45 CET

Thanx to Ed Graham for sending us the following news:

Manowar has just released Battle Hymns Silver Edition. It fucking slays! Its a remaster of the original debut album, complete with unseen photos, interviews with the original members, and sounds absolutely killer!

Spinal Tap is back from the dead and touring the West Coast (of USA). I managed to catch a performance at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, and they were absolutely amazing, with guest appearances by people like Dweezil Zappa. Don't miss out on this tour!

Annihilator news
Posted by: Matze @ 18:57 CET

The following press release has been put up at the official Annihilator website last week:

Annihilator is rumored to be doing a tour in Japan in the first week of September with Loudness; apparently Akira Takasaki is a big fan of Jeff as is Jeff of Akira! There is also talk of shooting a live video and also a live cd in Japan; possibly two cd's: one of the heavy material and the other of Annihilator's more melodic songs. Jeff Waters confirms that he is working on editing footage of Annihilator's first ever video/DVD release titled "Annihilator: Ten Years in Hell". The video will contain all eight of Annihilator's official promo video releases and about 80 minutes of pro and home video from the early years (1989) up to the end of touring for "Criteria for a Black Widow" (2000). Look for it sometime in the late fall.

Also, Annihilator are confirmed headliners at:

03rd of August - CH-Pratteln - Z 7 Open Air
04th of August - Germany - Wacken Open Air Festival
05th of August - Belgium - Neerpelt Eurorock

Scandinavia is being worked on as well as some other possible dates!

Cheers:
Jeff Waters
Oh, and there's a little Annihilator contest over at Abrasive Rock's Contest Page where you can win phone call from Jeff. If you should happen to win, please do a little interview for Penny Dreadful... :)

Well, I hope this doesn't mean we won't see another Supershine album! ;)
